GOOD DESIGN AWARDS® WINNER - VET SLED

Form Designs and the Vet Sled received a prestigious Good Design Award® Winner Accolade in the Product Design category, recognised for its outstanding innovation and impact on the veterinary field. The Good Design Awards Jury praised the Vet Sled, stating:
“The Vet Sled takes a good idea and transforms it into a market-first innovation. It appears to be easily manoeuvrable over all surface types. Additionally, the concept of taking the enclosure to the animal is brilliant. The flat pack design improves its portability, greatly enhancing its scalability for sale in overseas markets.”

Form Designs and Steadyrack were awarded the Good Design Award Gold Winner in the Product Design category. The Good Design Awards Jury praised the Steadyrack commenting:
“A clearly considered, ergonomic solution that solves a genuine problem. It is easy to access and use with a simple minimal design. The additional capability to turn the bike closer to the wall for smaller spaces is very clever. Simple construction, relatively easy to install and easy to roll the bike onto the rack without having to lift it. A great example of good design that makes our life just a little easier. GOOD DESIGN AWARDS® CEREMONY 2019
We are pleased to announce that Form Designs were awarded three prestigious accolades in recognition for outstanding design and innovation at this year’s GOOD DESIGN AWARDS® 2019
The winners of Australia's peak industry design awards – the highest honour for design and innovation in the country – were announced at The Star on 11 July at the 61st annual Good Design Awards Ceremony. The Good Design Awards is Australia’s most prestigious international Awards for design and innovation with a proud history dating back to 1958.
The Good Design Awards Jury spent several days evaluating each entry according to a strict set of design criteria which covers ‘good design’, ‘design innovation’ and ‘design impact’. Projects recognised with a Good Design Award must demonstrate excellence in all areas and convince the Jury they are worthy of recognition. Dr. Brandon Gien, CEO of Good Design Australia said: “Receiving a Good Design Award at this level is a significant achievement given the very high calibre of entries received this year.”
“Australia’s Good Design Award is more than a symbol of design excellence; it represents the hard work and dedication towards an innovative outcome that will ultimately improve our quality of life. These projects showcase the brilliance of design and the potential it has to improve our world,” said Dr. Gien.

GOOD DESIGN AWARD® CEREMONY 2018
The winners of Australia's Good Design Awards, the highest honour for design innovation in Australia, were announced at the Sydney Opera House on the 17 May at the 60TH ANNUAL GOOD DESIGN AWARDS CEREMONY where Edward and Sharon Khoury, of Form Designs, attended as guests together with William McClean of Tieline.
GOOD DESIGN AWARD® WINNER - ViA PORTABLE CODEC

The ViA PORTABLE CODEC received a prestigious Good Design Award® Winner in the Product Design category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation. The Good Design Award Jury commented:
“A simple to use, compact and portable codec for wireless remote broadcasting. The technology brings a radical change in the way radio and TV can broadcast from remote locations. Simple and effective design solutions coupled with a great attention to manufacturing details. Product is fit for purpose. The design of the molding, button and knob locations and connectors is effective and very nicely done. This product is handy for a broadcasting professional to keep for 'on the road' applications. Compact device that attempts to house all the necessary technology and connectors in the one neat and versatile package. Well done.”
