Featuring heavy-duty marine ropes and robust nylon struts, it ensures swimmer safety while preventing marine entanglement. The barrier also acts as an artificial reef, promoting marine biodiversity. With an impressive 7,300kg breaking strength, it withstands extreme ocean conditions, making it ideal for year-round installation. Styleware were designed to be the anti-ugh, to work hard while looking gorgeous. Made of a premium, light weight material, they’re snap-tight, safe for fridges, freezers, microwaves, dishwashers, and clumsy hands. their softly curving shape, matte exterior, glossy interior, and blushed hues make them down right sexy. These are bowls that make tables look better simply by sitting on them.

Form Designs Australia played a crucial role in the Angellpod project, utilising our expertise in product development and industrial design to create an innovative wall-mounted accessory for liquid dispenser bottles. Recognising the market opportunity to free up sink space with a suspended liquid soap dispenser, our design team undertook comprehensive research and development, bringing the concept from initial idea to commercialisation. One of the key challenges was ensuring the product's versatility for different surfaces, leading us to integrate a powerful suction cap for smooth surfaces and a strong adhesive mounting plate for uneven surfaces like brick or stone. Additionally, we designed a flexible strap that accommodates various bottle sizes and shapes, allowing the Angellpod to securely grip around the neck of different liquid dispensers.

Installing a post in the construction and fencing industry usually involves spirit levelling the post whilst propping it up with timber supports. The aim of this project is to create a tool to assist with the support of the post to keep it upright whilst levelling.

The Fire Starter is a creative design that allows users a clever way of protecting fire lighter blocks when starting a fire. The device is a metal cage that can hold an amount of fire lighter blocks, protecting them from potential smothering when placed into a fire.
A compact and affordable all-in-one stroller for children 6 months and older, the seat easily and conveniently raises up to an upright highchair position while the child is still seated. This is achieved through a unique mechanical lift system, with a pull lever located under the seat. Perfect for dining out, travelling, and visiting friends and family, it makes outings easy.
The Picco Brim is a unique visor that attaches to your glasses or sunglasses to help maximise the protection a brim can have when looking towards the sun. This is achieved by the brim sitting against the edge of your glasses resulting in a closer fit making it more effective than a standard hat. It has integral hinges that allow the plastic to bend in the desired locations. It also is folded up for convenient storage and stored in a draw string bag.
The client approached Form Designs Australia to design a practical and stylish hair tie hanger for home use, aimed at preventing hair ties from being lost on bathroom counters. They wanted a functional solution that is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and helps keep hair ties organised and accessible in a home setting.
The Safety Doc Box is a rugged and highly durable document storage solution built specifically for worksites and outdoor environments. Engineered to withstand harsh conditions, it protects essential paperwork (this includes safety manuals, permits, and site plans) from the elements with its weatherproof and impact-resistant construction. The sturdy, secure design reflects Form Designs' commitment to creating reliable, high-performance products that meet the unique needs of worksites while prioritising functionality and protection.
The Locking Security Camera Mount is designed to offer a secure, lockable function that sets it apart from conventional camera mounts. It allows the camera to be easily removed for charging or replacement while providing robust protection against theft when in use. The design features a small push lock integrated into the top assembly, which securely attaches to the Mount Bracket. This ensures the camera remains locked in place, preventing unauthorised removal from the wall, ceiling, or any other mounting surface.
The Loogeenie combines its slim design and flexible brush head to go to the back of the toilet's P-trap unlike any other toilet brush. A blister pack of cleaning detergent tablets is inserted into the brush handle, at each use, simply press the button and one tablet is released and dispensed through the brush into the toilet and dissolves while brushing leaving your toilet pristine and squeaky clean.
Simply press the button and the arms of the hanger collapse so that your clothes can easily slide off, separate the arms and click back into the original position.
The Tough Nut Tools project by Form Designs addresses the challenges plumbers face when replacing taps with a central spout configuration, particularly in tight spaces. This innovative basin socket set is specifically designed to access the outlet nut situated between the basin and the back wall, enabling plumbers to remove the spout outlet without the need to remove the taps or grind off the faucet. Tough Nut Tools provide a practical solution that enhances efficiency and convenience in plumbing tasks worldwide.

Tieline’s ViA is a revolutionary portable codec that has set a new standard in wireless remote broadcasting and has fundamentally changed the way radio and TV broadcasters perform live broadcasts from remote locations.
Form Designs Australia was instrumental in the QIKPIK project, leveraging our expertise in product development and industrial design to create an innovative solution for a common problem in sewing: the tedious task of undoing stitches. Understanding the limitations of traditional seam rippers, we developed QIKPIK, a hands-free device that attaches to the sewing table, allowing users to unpick seams quickly and efficiently. The design features two replaceable blades, specifically engineered for unpicking quilting seams and hems, ensuring versatility and ease of use. Additionally, QIKPIK incorporates built-in lights to enhance visibility during the unpicking process.
The Wrap Holder features a soft cover that can be easily peeled back as you eat, preventing the contents from spilling or the wrap from unraveling. It maintains hygiene by reducing direct contact with the wrap. A key aspect of this design is its integrated side zips, which create an overlapping seal from bottom to top, protecting the wrap before consumption. Users can enjoy their wrap in a manner similar to eating a banana, thanks to this peeling capability.
The Moody Dudes were originally designed as a fun cushion project for a local radio station. They were designed to be cute, fun, lovable “couch potatoes” that would be a great conversation starter for people's couches.
The Shopping Bag Holder is designed to store shopping bags when not in use. They are kept together by inserting the holder into a hole in a fabric bag.
Form Designs Australia applied its expertise in product design and industrial design to create the innovative BedZee, a toddler blanket specifically designed to keep children covered and warm throughout the night. The design team focused on ensuring the blanket's safety, making it snug enough to secure the child without the risk of entrapment. Key features include air vents in the bottom corners for airflow, providing peace of mind for parents. The BedZee also incorporates practical innovation with Velcro-attached sheets that are easy to wash, and press studs for height adjustments, allowing the blanket to adapt as the child grows. Form Designs Australia played a crucial role in the Shadeze project, focusing on innovative product development to address the challenge of using mobile devices in direct sunlight. Our design team created a practical and aesthetically pleasing solution featuring an integrated sliding shade that extends from the back of the case, maintaining a slim profile when not in use. The shade includes side wings for added protection from sunlight from multiple angles while allowing easy screen access. Additionally, Shadeze provides privacy protection in crowded public spaces, making it a versatile accessory for mobile users. Currently, the product is crowdfunding to support its initial production run, reflecting our commitment to practical and stylish solutions in the mobile device industry.
The Fix-A-Tap project by Form Designs aims to address the common challenge of removing lodged tap washers during repairs. Traditional methods often fall short due to the compression of washers, making them difficult to extract. The innovative design incorporates a dual-component system featuring a washer holding sleeve that expands to grip the washer securely and a locking sleeve that applies compressive pressure to facilitate smooth removal, ensuring a hassle-free experience for repairers every time.
In the current age of convenience, food delivery from services such as Uber, DoorDash and Menulog have seen a sharp increase in popularity, particularly in a world where lockdowns are a reality. Prior to these services, food was delivered by a worker at the restaurant, and both the restaurant and the customer could be assured the food was secure and wouldn’t be tampered with. With these new delivery services, food is now delivered by a 3rd party delivery driver, instilling some doubt for both the restaurant and customer into whether the food could have been tampered with between receiving the food and delivery. A 2019 survey of delivery drivers revealed 28% of drivers had eaten food they were delivering. Our client, through personal experience as a caring delivery driver, has identified a need to solve this issue with a bag that not only secures food in a delivery bag, but provides peace of mind for both the restaurant and customer.
Form Designs Australia developed the Bubble Adaptor, an innovative power board designed to accommodate the diverse range of unusually shaped and sized plugs that have emerged with the rise of battery-powered electronic devices. The main challenge was to create a compact solution that efficiently houses various power supplies while minimising space occupation. The design features a unique twisting and rotating mechanism that allows each plug to be inserted from different angles, preventing interference with adjacent plugs. This innovative approach required thorough collaboration with standards authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory and consumer requirements. Form Designs Australia developed the Safe-T-Tag to enhance electrical safety by providing a locking mechanism that attaches directly to the power plug, preventing accidental use of unsafe electrical equipment. This innovative design addresses the need to flag both decommissioned appliances and those that should be kept out of reach for safety reasons, such as in homes with children or disabled individuals. The team successfully created a mechanism that securely grips the pins of the plug, allowing for quick and effective identification and prevention of electrical accidents, ultimately improving safety in various environments.

Recognising the common issue of achieving a professional look with power points, light switches, and data jacks, our design team developed a purpose-built spirit level that caters to various fittings. The tool features side holes, spring-loaded plugs, and compatibility with AC power sockets, allowing it to adapt to different installations. This thoughtful design also includes a clearance factor to prevent interference with the switch itself. As a result, the Pro-Fit Level provides a straightforward and accurate solution for aligning power point fittings, enhancing efficiency and aesthetics in electrical installations.
For the kids' Ride-on vacuum, we aimed to create a visually appealing and user-friendly design that appeals to young children. The design features bright colours, playful shapes, and intuitive controls to ensure an engaging experience while promoting imaginative play. Our focus was on safety and ease of use, making the vacuum a delightful addition to any household while encouraging kids to participate in cleaning activities.
The Shhhtop Door Damper is a sleek and effective solution designed to quietly and smoothly control the closing of doors, preventing slams and reducing noise. Ideal for homes, offices, or commercial spaces, this door damper works by gently decelerating the door’s movement, ensuring a soft, controlled close every time. Its minimalist design integrates seamlessly into any setting, while its durable construction ensures long-lasting performance. Easy to install and maintain, the Shhhtop Door Damper enhances comfort and peace of mind by protecting doors from damage and eliminating disruptive noise.
Form Designs Australia designed the innovative Steadyrack, a space-saving bicycle rack created to address the challenges of bike storage in densely populated areas. This product eliminates the need to lift bikes onto a hook by utilising the front wheel’s natural rotation to mount the bike vertically. The rack also features a swivel function, allowing bikes to be suspended closer to parallel with the wall, optimising storage in tight spaces. When not in use, the Steadyrack can be folded flush against the wall for added convenience. This clever combination of product design and industrial design innovation has driven Steadyrack's commercial success across multiple continents.

The Crab Crib was developed to overcome this problem and to deliver a more sustainable and more effective product to the market. Changing from netting to a flexible PVC die-cut sheet, the Crab Crib allows small crabs to easily slip out of the crab pot without causing any injury. The Crab Crib spreads up into a basket shape and collapses easily for effective storage and functionality.

This sleek, meaningful keepsake represents the passing of life, featuring an elegant, ergonomic design that honours both donors and recipients. It’s a tribute to life, hope, and second chances.
The ClubWhizz is a prime example of innovative industrial design, engineered to solve a common golfing issue—keeping golf clubs clean during play. The design team at Form Designs Australia developed a unique solution by utilising the rotation of a golf cart wheel to power a circular brush, allowing golfers to clean their clubs easily between shots. One of the key challenges was making the product universal, which was achieved through an adjustable tie strap system that fits all golf buggy wheels. Additionally, the product features a click-and-lock mechanism, enabling golfers to use it as a hand brush when needed. The ClubWhizz showcases creative problem-solving in industrial design, delivering a functional, versatile, and user-friendly product.
Form Designs Australia developed the Rockfisher Personal Flotation Device (PFD) to address the specific needs of the rock fishing industry, recognising that traditional PFDs often lack appeal for anglers seeking functionality and style. The Rockfisher combines practical features such as storage for keys and phones, bait cutting tools, and built-in lighting while maintaining a rugged aesthetic that resonates with fishermen. Designed to blend seamlessly into the outdoor environment, this PFD enhances safety without compromising on masculinity, marking a significant shift in fishing gear that excites the angling community.
The aim was to design a camera to mount on the rear of a bicycle, under the saddle on the saddle post. The Fly 6 concept proposes to deliver a number of safety and awareness benefits, which will reduce accidents and road rage, while providing accurate recorded data of events that may lead up to incidents that occur on the road between cyclists and other road users.
Form Designs Australia collaborated with Rite Aid to develop the Medi-Bell, a safety timer designed to provide users with peace of mind by ensuring accurate dosing intervals. The device was crafted with simplicity and convenience in mind, featuring intuitive buttons and programs that easily attach to medication containers such as boxes, bottles, and blister packs using a secure hinge and elastic band. Designed for individuals with poor hearing or eyesight, the Medi-Bell includes tactile buttons, bright colours, and audible alerts for easy use. Built from durable, sustainable materials and equipped with a long-lasting battery, the Medi-Bell offers a reliable and eco-friendly solution for medication management.
The Swimsure project, developed by Form Designs, aimed to create a portable personal swimming enclosure to protect swimmers from shark attacks, addressing concerns that deterred people from utilising their boats in Western Australia. The design team focused on lightweight, strong, and eco-friendly materials, incorporating Bionic Barrier technology for the underwater panels, which are flexible, durable, and individually replaceable if damaged. The inflatable float, made from heavy-weight polyurethane alloy, is easy to transport and store, offering boat owners a safe swimming experience while promoting eco-friendly shark mitigation solutions.
The V-Comb project by Form Designs introduces a chemical-free solution for head lice removal. Inspired by how astronauts shave in microgravity, this innovative device combines a comb and vacuum mechanism to gently extract lice and eggs into a disposable filter. Featuring stainless steel teeth with rounded edges and an adjustable head, the V-Comb ensures comfort and safety for users of all ages. This groundbreaking design effectively addresses issues with traditional treatments, prioritising user safety and environmental concerns while providing an efficient solution.
The most significant innovation in this design is the sweeping mechanism that was incorporated to make the process more thorough and improve the overall performance in identification and removal. The design team also critically analysed the user requirements and discovered that adequate lighting is often a problem, and integrated a small LED light that enables the user to clearly identify and eliminate lice and eggs.
The Smart-I is a groundbreaking collaboration between Form Designs and TelemedC LLC, aimed at creating a portable device that consolidates multiple eye imaging functions into one compact unit. This innovative medical device has gained recognition from NASA, which employs it to study the effects of microgravity on astronauts' eye health during long missions in space. Its durability and portability make it ideal for research on the International Space Station, where it aids in collecting critical data on visual and vascular changes, ultimately addressing knowledge gaps and identifying risks for extended space travel.
The V-Comb A1 project by Form Designs addresses the need for an effective and user-friendly solution in head lice treatment. Traditional chemical treatments can be harsh and ineffective, prompting the development of a device that utilizes a gentle vacuum system. The innovative design of the V-Comb A1 combines a rechargeable, chemical-free combing mechanism with a vacuum that extracts lice and eggs into hygienic capture filters. This patented system not only ensures easy use but also allows for mess-free disposal, making the V-Comb A1 a convenient and safe option for families dealing with lice infestations.
Form Designs Australia created the Couple-It clip system, an innovative solution aimed at enhancing the daily lives of individuals with permanent or temporary disabilities. This product design features a simple yet effective locking mechanism that attaches securely to the sides of underwear, enabling users to dress themselves with greater independence and dignity. The Vet Sled is a mobile enclosure that allows horses and large farm animals to receive grooming or veterinary treatment in their own, familiar environment. Vets, farriers, horse groomers, allied animal health care practitioners and animal owners can all work safely, confident that stress on the animal is also greatly reduced.
The Vertical Plant Stand, “Terracottapotta”, features a unique arrangement that accommodates multiple pots in a compact design, allowing users to cultivate a thriving garden even in small areas. The stand offers a natural aesthetic that enhances any decor. The design facilitates easy planting, watering, and maintenance, making it a practical choice for plant lovers. For the Bogabox project, we designed a compact storage box that doubles as a durable recovery track for off-road emergencies. The Flex 2 Flow Sprinkler is a pop-up style sprinkler used mainly for watering lawns and gardens. This Sprinkler has no friction while the sprinkler pops up and retracts. This frictionless action eliminates jams and mechanical failures, commonly caused by sand and other foreign matter. This action is created by a concave flexible dome, joined by a stainless-steel ring to a flexible bell-shaped base. Once the Sprinkler is pressurised by water, the concave dome is inverted to expose the Sprinkler head creating the pop-up action. Once the pressure of the water is released the inverted dome retracts to its natural shape in the concave position.
