QIKPIK PROJECT BRIEF

Undoing sewing on a garment or quilt is a tedious job – the old method for undoing sewing is to use a little tool called a ‘picker’. This is extremely time-consuming and led to the client proposing a device that makes this process quicker and easier.

QIKPIK DESIGN

QIKPIK is unlike conventional seam rippers as it attaches to the sewing table, leaving both hands free. This allows for easy and fast operation. The QIKPIK is designed with two blades, one for unpicking quilting seams and the other for unpicking hems. QIKPIK even has inbuilt lights and both blades are replaceable.
