Form Designs Australia played a crucial role in the development of the Aquarius Gen 2 Barrier, the world’s most advanced shark barrier technology, designed by Global Marine Enclosures. Tailored to meet the needs of individual communities and their unique beach activities, the Aquarius Barrier integrates strength, durability, and eco-friendly design. Featuring heavy-duty marine ropes and robust nylon struts, it ensures swimmer safety while preventing marine entanglement. The barrier also acts as an artificial reef, promoting marine biodiversity. With an impressive 7,300kg breaking strength, it withstands extreme ocean conditions, making it ideal for year-round installation. This innovative product showcases Form Designs Australia's industrial design expertise in creating cost-effective, durable solutions for marine environments.

Installing a post in the construction and fencing industry usually involves spirit levelling the post whilst propping it up with timber supports. The aim of this project is to create a tool to assist with the support of the post to keep it upright whilst levelling.

Form Designs Australia developed the innovative Bionic Barrier, an advanced Shark Barrier designed for exposed beaches, surf breaks, and sheltered bays. The challenge of creating a durable, static structure for high-energy marine environments led to the design of a seabed-to-surface enclosure using UV-stabilised high-impact polymer. The Bionic Barrier features interconnected plastic modules with hinged sections that adapt to tidal fluctuations and wave forces, providing unrivalled strength and durability. This innovative product design improves operational efficiency with pre-assembled installation, easy on-site maintenance through removable panels, and antibacterial properties to deter fouling. The Barrier can also be safely lowered to the seabed during extreme weather or community events, showcasing Form Designs Australia's industrial design expertise and commitment to functional, long-lasting solutions for marine protection.

Form Designs Australia was instrumental in the Relocatables Cafe project, leveraging our expertise in industrial design to create an innovative outdoor café space for the Cockburn area that prioritises sustainability and the use of local materials. Our design team sought to transform shipping containers—reflective of the area's port and harbour heritage—into a modern, inviting environment. This ambitious project faced the challenge of repurposing these old industrial structures into a contemporary setting that resonates with the community while promoting eco-friendly practices. The result is a striking café space that not only serves as a gathering place but also embodies our commitment to sustainability, creating a unique atmosphere that connects patrons to their surroundings.

Form Designs Australia designed and developed an innovative aluminium fencing and balustrade system for Haylin Systems. Based on the provided conceptual ideas, the project focused on creating an integrated system using common aluminium extrusions. The design aimed to simplify the assembly process, allowing construction teams to install the system quickly and easily without the need for tools on-site.
