The client approached Form Designs Australia after experiencing issues (such as pressure sores, discomfort) from wearing sunglasses along with brimmed caps for extended periods of time. The client wished to develop a compact, sleek, and fashionable attachment for existing sunglasses to prevent these issues.

PICCO SHADE DESIGN BRIEF

The Picco Brim is a unique visor that attaches to your glasses or sunglasses to help maximise sun protection and prevent sun glare without the need for a cap. This is achieved by the brim sitting against the edge of your glasses, resulting in a closer fit making it more effective and fashionable than a standard hat. It has integral hinges that allow the plastic to bend in the desired locations. It can also fold up for convenient storage and stored in a draw string bag.
